My Personal Journey of Alignment

At the time of writing, I am blessed to have shared 17 years of marriage with my beautiful wife, Lyneesha ( side note: look how long my locs were). Like many of you, our relationship has faced its share of scrutiny—both internally and from those around us. Yet, what has sustained us is a steadfast faith and a commitment to evolving together, loving who we are becoming rather than clinging solely to who we once were. I vividly recall a moment when my uncle, who has celebrated 48 years of love with my aunt, gently reminded me that while others might not understand our unconventional way of connecting, many of those very voices had never truly experienced the beauty of commitment and vulnerability. His words affirmed that true connection transcends external judgments and is nourished by the love we hold within.
